For 15 years, LR Health & Beauty has served kids in need through its philanthropic arm LR Global Kids Fund. The association was founded by the company’s employees and management as a way to help socially disadvantaged children while providing the opportunity for a “self-determined life.”
Today, the charity supports 20 projects around the world, including the Ahlen children’s facility “Lunch Club” and a collaboration with the SOS Children’s Village Worldwide Foundation. To date, the organization has raised more than $6.5 million and continues to raise more than half a million dollars annually.
As part of its anniversary celebration, the organization launched the campaign “I do nothing*…”, which the company designed to be a playful phrase ending in “I do nothing…better than giving children a smile!”
“We are proud of what we have been able to achieve over the past 15 years thanks to our many supporters,” said Kirsten Ueckmann, LRGKF Chairwoman. “The need for donations to support children’s aid projects is still great, and funds will continue to be needed in the future. It is therefore important for us to continue our social commitment in the future. We are building on our strong commitment to date and hope for the continued active support of our loyal LRGKF donors, who have made these successes possible.”
