MONAT Gratitude, MONAT’s philanthropic organization, hosted its fourth annual Feast with Gratitude event in partnership with Farm Share and Neighbors 4 Neighbors. Together, the organizations provided healthy food and household essentials to 2,000 South Florida families, delivering an estimated 80,000 pounds of food and more than $200,000 in essential items.
“Our ultimate goal is to make sure no one goes hungry,” said Stephen R. Shelley, President and CEO of Farm Share. “Sadly, we know that this holiday season and every year, millions of people will. Feast with Gratitude was a wonderful opportunity to touch a local community and help individuals during this terrible food insecurity crisis. Farm Share is a part of South Florida, with extensive outreach efforts, and we’re committed to continuing our meaningful efforts to make sure no food goes to waste and food is readily available to every person in these communities.”
Feast with Gratitude has become one of MONAT’s signature events, bringing the organization’s mission to life as it impacts children and families in need.
“It’s always an honor and a privilege to serve the South Florida community during Feast with Gratitude,” said MONAT Gratitude CEO Lu Urdaneta. “Assisting local families in need is part of our drive and mission at MONAT Gratitude. We plan to continue expanding our outreach within local communities and be here to offer a helping hand when needed.”
