To address the surge of COVID-19 and overrun medical care systems in India, QNET’s philanthropic initiative RYTHM Foundation partnered with Project CoHeal, a Covid Care Facility serving patients free of cost. The RYTHM Foundation’s support will help with operations scaling and the funding of oxygen concentrators, ventilators and healthcare worker salaries for six months. The facility opened its doors on May 24, 2021 and has a 100-patient capacity.
QNET’s support has also made it possible for the hospital to purchase four units of High Flow Nasal Cannula (HNC) Ventilators, which has become an essential piece of equipment for COVID-19 ICU patients.
The hospital was set up in only one week and has no “cash counters,” to further emphasize the availability of the medical care to patients regardless of income.
