JAFRA USA announced the addition of Linnette Reindel as the new Vice President of Sales to oversee strategic U.S. market business growth. Effective immediately, Reindel will join the JAFRA USA executive team reporting directly to Dr. Friedrich Kroos, JAFRA Worldwide President and CEO.
Reindel first joined JAFRA USA in July 2011 as Executive Business Consultant and brought significant contributions to the design of the company’s business strategies and tactics. In her new role as Vice President of Sales, she will focus on salesforce development and business transformation and contribute to key business objectives.
Prior to joining JAFRA USA, Reindel operated as a consultant and interim business executive for startup and established brands seeking aggressive industry growth.
JAFRA Cosmetics was founded in Malibu, Calif., in 1956 by Jan and Frank Day. In 2004, the privately held JAFRA joined the Vorwerk Group, a German-based, multibillion-dollar international direct sales company, represented in more than 60 countries worldwide. JAFRA has 550,000 worldwide independent consultants.

MonaVie announced that it has named Rob Ferguson as its new Chief Information Officer. As CIO, Ferguson will coordinate with the company’s founders and board to develop strategies and systems that meet the evolving technology needs of the company’s global network of independent distributors.
Ferguson has been with MonaVie almost since its founding and has been instrumental in successfully building a world-class IT organization with personnel, technology and infrastructure. Most recently, Ferguson served as Senior Vice President of Technology for the company.
Prior to joining MonaVie, Ferguson served in IT management and consulting roles for a number of companies, including Microsoft, Deloitte & Touche and Novel Inc.
MonaVie has also named Kale Carlile as the company’s Chief Operations Officer. As COO, Carlile will oversee the company’s supply chain management, product management, global logistics and contact center.
Prior to his appointment as COO, Carlile served in several management positions with the company, most recently as Vice President of Operations. During his tenure at MonaVie, Carlile has led several key initiatives to create efficiencies and maximize MonaVie’s competitiveness in a global market.

Bikman will bring his background in advertising and corporate marketing, along with his accomplishments and skills within the direct selling industry, to complement LiveSmart 360’s product offerings, marketing platforms and corporate positioning.
Since 1994, Bikman has worked with advertising agencies and in corporate marketing. In 2007 he was recruited by a direct selling company where he helped rebrand and reposition the company and was a key player in more than doubling its annual revenues within two years. He was also instrumental in improving customer retention and loyalty.
After he transitioned to another direct sales company in 2009, he went to work repositioning and rebranding that company, while helping develop a very successful series of products and marketing tools.

Medifast Inc., a manufacturer and provider of clinically proven portion-controlled weight-loss programs, announced that the company’s Board of Directors has named Michael C. MacDonald, Executive Chairman of the Board, as the company’s new CEO.
Before becoming a Medifast board member in 1998, and being appointed Medifast’s Executive Chairman of the Board on Oct. 31, 2011, MacDonald served as an Executive Vice President at Office Max Inc., where he led the Contract Division, a $3.6 billion business unit. Prior to Office Max, MacDonald spent 33 years serving in a variety of senior corporate officer positions for Xerox Corp.
