France’s top-ranked female tennis player, Kristina Mladenovic, is one of the latest athletes to sign on as a USANA Brand Ambassador, after long use of the company’s nutritional products.
Mladenovic and fellow Frenchwoman Alizé Cornet, both of the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA), have joined more than 700 other elite athletes who rely on USANA products to fuel their performance. The Salt Lake City-based company partners with Ambassadors primarily through product sponsorships, meaning the athletes sign on to receive USANA nutritional supplements.
A longtime partner of the WTA, USANA is entering its tenth year as the organization’s Official Health Supplement Supplier. More than 170 WTA athletes, including eight of the Top 10, are Ambassadors of the company’s NSF-tested products.
Mladenovic, who represented France at the 2012 London Games, currently holds the top rank in the nation in both singles and doubles tennis. She has collected one singles and 12 doubles WTA titles, as well as two mixed-doubles Grand Slam titles with Canada’s Daniel Nestor.
“I’m excited to be part of Team USANA,” Mladenovic said in a statement. “I have been using USANA vitamins and supplements for a few years and have seen the difference it has made in my health and fitness. As one of USANA’s Ambassadors, I’m looking forward to sharing my positive experience with others and letting them know what USANA can do for them.”
Cornet, ranked No. 36, is a two-time Olympian who recently defeated fellow Brand Ambassador Genie Bouchard of Canada to earn her fifth WTA singles title. She also holds three doubles titles.
