The Vorwerk Group reported its highest sales ever with 2.5 billion euros in revenue for 2012, a 10 percent year-over-year increase for the No. 4 direct selling company in the world. Its long-term strategy to achieve profitable growth has doubled the group’s sales over the past 10 years. Vorwerk’s highly diverse product range encompasses household appliances, home care and cosmetics.
Vorwerk’s momentum has continued in the first four months of 2013 with a 10 percent sales increase over the same period last year. The family-owned, German-based enterprise is celebrating 130 years in business and investing a reported 130 million euros in continued development. “For the current fiscal year, we expect the 3-billion-euro mark in the volume of business to crack,” said the general partners.
The Vorwerk Group works with 610,000 independent consultants and operates in 75 countries around the world. Its divisions include Lux Asia Pacific, Kobold and Thermomix household appliances, Jafra Cosmetics and akf group financial services.
