Seldia, the European Direct Selling Association, hosted 155 delegates over two days in Brussels and online in a hybrid event. The gathering follows a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic.
“The past years have profoundly changed our sector,” said Beatrice Nelson-Beer, Seldia President, prior to the event. “The conference will be an opportunity to take stock and look to what is ahead for direct selling in Europe. And to meet in person, at long last.”
The conference featured 18 panelists from 14 nationalities and eight speakers with specialties outside of the direct selling channel. The planning committee intentionally focused on gender parity, with ten women panelists.
Seldia hosted a benefit dinner in lieu of its traditional awards gala, with proceeds supporting education and entrepreneurship in Ukraine.
