Scentsy’s philanthropic organization, the Scentsy Family Foundation, awarded a $10,000 grant to the Women’s and Children’s Alliance, which provides emergency and transitional housing for the survivors of domestic and sexual violence.
“We are so grateful for support from the Scentsy Family Foundation,” said Bev La Chance, WCA Grants Director. “Home is not always safe for everyone. We are experiencing a significant increase in requests for services by individuals impacted by domestic violence, compared to the same time last year, due to the pandemic. We are deeply grateful for the support of those who allow us to provide safety and healing.”
The Women’s and Children’s Alliance also provides childcare, counseling, court advocacy and more for those who have endured abuse.
