Plexus Worldwide announced key metrics that give insight into the company’s performance and engagement throughout the pandemic. In 2020, Plexus Worldwide fulfilled more than 4 million orders to customers and onboarded 350,000 new independent business owners.
The company also exceeded the previous year’s philanthropic donations by nearly 80%, and employees committed hundreds of volunteer hours to help nonprofits in the Phoenix area, Canada and Australia. The company’s Nourish One initiative donated the equivalent of more than 10.5 million meals to Feeding America, Mary’s Meals and other global nutrition partners dedicated to addressing hunger issues in children and families.
“With a deep commitment to corporate social responsibility, our vision at Plexus is to spread health and happiness to the people in our community, across the country, and around the world,” said Alec Clark, Founder and President. “Though 2020 looked different than previous years, we were still able to give back through virtual volunteer efforts, in-kind product donations, and monetary donations to nonprofits that struggled to provide assistance to the public. I’m proud of our team members and Ambassadors for rallying around their communities and continuing to show our One Plexus spirit, which defines the culture of our company.”
The company also continued its expansion goals in 2020, launching in Mexico in March of last year.
“In a year when many companies were struggling or laying people off, I’m proud to say that Plexus was able to continue our expansion globally as well as here in the U.S.,” said Tarl Robinson, Founder and CEO of Plexus Worldwide. “We hired more than 115 corporate staff and increased our independent direct selling Ambassadors by 350,000 last year. All of us at Plexus are energized to carry this momentum into 2021.”
