Mannatech has published a website detailing the science behind its products and the history of its 26 years in the direct selling health and wellness arena.
The company that pioneered Glyconutrition gained tremendous growth and worldwide acclaim for its products containing Acemannan, extracted from the aloe vera plant, in the mid-1990s. However, during the past decade, the company experienced its share of controversial media coverage. In an effort to inform the public about the facts, Mannatech released The Truth About Mannatech.
“We are proud to stand up and tell everyone who we are,” said Mannatech CEO and President Al Bala. “This website is an honest and factual account about what we stand for and where we came from, and it stakes our rightful place in the history of this industry.”
Mannatech product claims, made by users of their products, were called into question by the Texas Attorney General in 2007. Mannatech entered into a settlement and took immediate action to comply with all mandated stipulations. Now the company is publishing its story in The Truth About Mannatech to provide factual and accurate information regarding its history.
Mannatech is a publicly traded, global multi-level marketing firm that sells dietary supplements and personal care products. The Flower Mound, Texas-based company’s stock is traded on the NASDAQ exchange (MTEX).
