Goings Elected Chairman of BENS
Rick Goings, Chairman and CEO of Tupperware, has been elected Chairman of the Board of Business Executives for National Security (BENS), a nonpartisan organization that supports the U.S. government by applying pro bono best business practice solutions to the most intractable national security challenges. He replaces Joseph E. Robert Jr., who has served as Chairman since 2007 and will now become Chairman Emeritus.
Goings has been a BENS member since 2002 and a member of the Executive Committee since 2009. He was recently part of a joint delegation between BENS and the U.S. Department of Defense Task Force for Business and Stability Operations that visited Iraq to learn more about local businesswomen, the challenges they face in Iraq’s fast-growing economy and the potential business and investment opportunities in the country. The delegation was the first of its kind to visit Iraq solely for the purpose of studying women’s issues.
As Chairman, Goings will lead BENS’ efforts to provide government leaders with new ideas and approaches on ways to transform the business of national security. He will also engage BENS members to champion policy projects; interact with senior military and civilian leaders; work directly with federal, state and local government leaders; and visit military and other national security-related institutions.

USANA has realigned its executive team and appointed Kevin G. Guest as President of North America, Roy W. Truett as COO, Deborah Woo as President of Asia Pacific and G. Douglas Hekking as CFO.
As President of North America, Guest currently oversees all operations for the United States, Canada, Mexico, United Kingdom and Netherlands markets. He also oversees marketing and research and development for the company worldwide. Guest has worked with USANA for more than 18 years. Since joining full time in 2004, he has served as Executive Director of Media and Events, Vice President of Media and Events, Vice President of Marketing and Chief Marketing Officer.
As COO, Truett is responsible for the day-to-day activities of the corporation and enhancing the internal organization processes. He is also accountable for information technology solutions, inventory control, manufacturing, quality assurance and warehousing solutions.
As President of Asia Pacific, Woo currently oversees all operations for the markets of Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines and China. She joined the company as General Manager of USANA Hong Kong in 1999. She has also held positions as Regional General Manager for the Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore markets; Vice President of Greater China and East Asia; Vice President of Greater China and North Asia; and Executive Vice President of Asia, USANA’s fastest-growing market.
In the role of CFO, Hekking oversees the functions of accounting, finance, tax, treasury, financial planning and investor relations. He joined USANA in 1992 and has held positions as Controller, Vice President of Finance and Executive Director of Special Projects.

Kimberly A. Ross
Avon has named Kimberly A. Ross as Executive Vice President and CFO, reporting to Andrea Jung, Avon’s Chairman and CEO. Ross is currently a member of the Executive Board of Netherlands-based Royal Ahold N.V.
Ross is expected to join Avon this fall, when she will succeed Charles Cramb, who continues to serve as interim CFO in addition to his role as Vice Chairman of Avon’s Developed Market Group.
Ross joined Royal Ahold in 2001 and advanced through a series of successively responsible positions in treasury, tax and finance before her appointment as CFO in 2007. Her responsibilities have included driving business and financial performance as well as direct oversight of strategic business planning, risk management, accounting, tax, treasury, internal controls, investor relations and IT.
Mona Ameli has been appointed USA General Manager of Belcorp USA. In this role, Ameli will be responsible for leading the company’s strategic direction and operations.
Ameli brings 18 years of experience to Belcorp USA, having held senior management positions with organizations worldwide in the high-tech, automotive, direct-to-consumer packaged goods, and health, beauty and lifestyle industries.
Ameli is fluent in three languages—English, French and Spanish—and has been actively involved in organizations dedicated to the advancement and empowerment of women in the United States.
Belcorp USA is Ventura International Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Belcorp International Ltd., a private, multi-brand, international corporation.
Enagic USA has promoted Don Prosser, Ph.D., to Vice President of Sales for North America. In this position, Prosser assumes overall sales responsibility and reports to Hironari Ohshiro, CEO of Enagic International. Prosser joins Koichiro Higa, Vice President of Operations, in the joint leadership of Enagic USA.
Prosser’s goal in the position is to rebrand the company in a “field-oriented manner” that marries the company’s 37 years of manufacturing experience with the networking skills of a rapidly expanding field of independent distributors.
Prosser has also held positions at Enagic as Director of Operations and Marketing as well as Director of Marketing.
ViSalus Sciences has appointed Russ Wood as Vice President of Canadian Sales and Operations.
Wood has more than 18 years of experience in the direct selling industry. He was selected for the role due to his extensive expertise in international business, distributor relations, product development, supply chain management, regulatory approval and distribution, IT and strategic planning. Wood, who is fluent in Mandarin, has opened 17 other markets in addition to Canada.
Wood will work out of the ViSalus corporate office in Troy, Mich., supporting Canadian customers and distributors, growing and servicing leadership teams, and facilitating events and opportunities.
Randy Bancino has been appointed President of Univera, the health and nutritional products company headquartered in Lacey, Wash. In addition, the company also named Ken Reid as General Manager of Canada.
Bancino brings to Univera more than 25 years of experience, most recently in international sales and recruiting strategy. He has held previous leadership positions in the direct selling industry and was an adjunct professor at Western Michigan University.
Reid brings nearly 30 years of experience to Univera. Most recently, he served as National Sales Director for a natural-focused company and previously as a Division Sales Manager.
