The Direct Selling Association recently linked to a Forbes piece examining “The Correlation between MLM Success and Mentorship.” Companies implement various mentorship programs not only to encourage personal success, but also to spur organizational growth. The author applauds multi-level marketing (MLM) companies for demonstrating a business model that invests each level of the organization in the success of both the higher and lower levels. In other words, MLMs inherently possess a culture that other businesses must cultivate from the ground up. This culture represents perhaps the greatest strategic advantage of any MLM and creates what the piece calls “one of the most effective ways to enter the entrepreneurship arena.”
