The Direct Selling Education Foundation and the Direct Sellers Association of Canada are partnering in an initiative to boost innovative thinking and entrepreneurial skills among young Canadians.
The contest is available to teams of post-secondary students and will offer students the chance to win cash and prizes, develop real-world entrepreneurial skills and engage with the direct-to-consumer and direct selling channels.
Participants will brainstorm products, outline a sales model and illustrate how they will be successful in the market. Ideas will then be evaluated by a judging panel of Canadian academics and industry insiders.
The winning team will present their ideas to Canadian Academic Entrepreneur Challenge partner organizations.
