Amway’s commitment to innovation and willingness to evolve recently resulted in a unique first for the company. The No. 1 direct selling company in the world teamed up with tech giant Microsoft to host a women’s leadership event at its World Headquarters in Ada, Mich. The two corporations invited 200 women professionals from across the Midwest to invest in building leadership skills and networking.
The concept for the event grew out of conversations between three Amway leaders and their Microsoft Account Exec. According to Amway’s Donna Stoutjesdyk, the idea originated as a workshop and quickly grew in scale. In addition to a panel moderated by Fox Sports anchor and reporter Dara McIntosh, the event featured keynote speakers Candace Matthews, Amway Chief Marketing Officer, and Kelly Rogan, Microsoft’s Vice President, America’s Premier Services.
