Philippe Jacquelinet was elected chairman of FEDSA by the General Assembly meeting held in Brussels on Feb. 10, 2010.
Philippe Jacquelinet is 48 years old and of French nationality. He graduated from the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce in Dijon and started his career with La Redoute, a mail-order company. After a short period with Go Sport, a sports equipment retailer, he held an executive position in the French fashion company Cacharel. In 1993, Philippe Jacquelinet and his wife founded a direct selling company, Captain Tortue. Today, Philippe Jacquelinet is the CEO Cacharel and is a leader in the French fashion sector of direct selling and president of the French DSA.
The General Assembly also elected Richard Berry (UK DSA), Anders Berglund (Swedish DSA), Jacques Cosnefroy (French DSA), Arabelle Ferket (Dutch DSA), Miroslaw Lubon (Polish DSA), Eva Rajki (Hungarian DSA) and Juan Turró (Spanish DSA) as members of the board of directors.
